maintains a hotline technical support number
(800) 327-8627, for the purpose of providing
user assistance and guidance in the implementation
of the software. All new customers are enrolled
in the Quickstart plan which provides free Technical
Support for 30 to 90 days (duration of support
depends on product purchased.) The technical
support number is available from 9:00 AM to
7:00 PM EST., Monday to Friday.
ESRI
will offer 60 days of complimentary technical
support for all new desktop software licenses
and 30 days of complimentary technical support
for upgrade licenses. Self-help & user-to-user
support services are available to desktop customers
at no charge. These services include: ESRI-L
and ArcView-L Email discussion lists, FAQs via
Fax On-Demand, the Web and Email, Technical
discussion forums & technical chat sessions
on the Web, Desktop Notes, the Technical Support
electronic newsletter.
